Day 141 - Thursday, November 17, 2016
Today completed the last day of zone conferences for the year.  We gathered three zones in Muñoz for a 6 hour conference.  Recognition is always part of our zone conferences. Several months ago we started giving simple "SOE flags" to missionaries who baptized two people in a month.  (See the white flags the missionaries are holding).  We were really pleased to see the number of SOE flags at each conference is growing.  There are more missionaries who receive an SOE flag then don't receive one.  Today more than a quarter of these missionaries received more than one flag.  Congratulations Angeles Missionaries!!!

I think that deserves a picture on her own.

Day 325 - Thursday, May 18, 2017 Today is President Clark's birthday.  It is also the final day of the Mission President Seminar.  This is our final Mission President's Seminar.  It is a day for me to reflect on just how wonderful this man is.  He is my strength, my go-to adviser, my knight in shining armor.  Our adventure in the Philippines has deepened my desire to be with him through the eternities.   A witness and testimony! These are days never to be forgotten!

Day 307 - Saturday, April 29, 2017   Today we drove over to Baler early in the morning.  Monday is a national holiday so we couldn't find a vacant hotel room.  This meant we did all of our work in one day.  We did our interviews with these dedicated Elders then took them to an all-you-can-eat buffet.  It began as a quiet meal but as their stomachs began to fill, there was more conversation.  They are true Elders!  After they finished eating, we went around to each apartment and inspected.  I'm happy to announce that they all had clean apartments.    Elders being taught.

Day 379 - July 10, 2017                                         At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning we arrived at our home in Naperville.  Another wash of emotion fell upon us.  We were tired from traveling but rejuvenated with an enthusiasm for next steps.  My good friend, Lisa, welcomed us with balloons and notes all over the front door.  Our home looked so well kept.  Our friends who stayed here while we were gone took tender loving care of it.  It's good to be home!
