Day 152 - Monday, November 28, 2016
 It's difficult to choose just two pictures today.  There is so much going on.  I didn't show a nativity from our area yesterday.  This is in front of a Hotel named L Square.  Its colorful and has its own story to tell.  In the Philippines this is called a belen.
This afternoon we were invited to another Thanksgiving Dinner.  Elder Teasdale is the District Leader and thought it a grand idea to help his district know what a traditional Thanksgiving dinner tastes like.  He and his companion went to great efforts picking just the right turkey and ham then getting it cooked.  Neither is very easy.  We dined on turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, kimchi rice, delicious sweet carrots, rolls, and a graham cracker dessert.  I brought pumpkin, apple and pecan pie.  The foreigners couldn't believe their good fortune.  The others kindly tasted their pie and some even liked it.  Everyone left more thankful for the blessings of life and a full stomach.

Day 325 - Thursday, May 18, 2017 Today is President Clark's birthday.  It is also the final day of the Mission President Seminar.  This is our final Mission President's Seminar.  It is a day for me to reflect on just how wonderful this man is.  He is my strength, my go-to adviser, my knight in shining armor.  Our adventure in the Philippines has deepened my desire to be with him through the eternities.   A witness and testimony! These are days never to be forgotten!

Day 307 - Saturday, April 29, 2017   Today we drove over to Baler early in the morning.  Monday is a national holiday so we couldn't find a vacant hotel room.  This meant we did all of our work in one day.  We did our interviews with these dedicated Elders then took them to an all-you-can-eat buffet.  It began as a quiet meal but as their stomachs began to fill, there was more conversation.  They are true Elders!  After they finished eating, we went around to each apartment and inspected.  I'm happy to announce that they all had clean apartments.    Elders being taught.

Day 379 - July 10, 2017                                         At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning we arrived at our home in Naperville.  Another wash of emotion fell upon us.  We were tired from traveling but rejuvenated with an enthusiasm for next steps.  My good friend, Lisa, welcomed us with balloons and notes all over the front door.  Our home looked so well kept.  Our friends who stayed here while we were gone took tender loving care of it.  It's good to be home!
